Destination of this car tour with driver/guide are the Rocas situated inland.
Start the day by visiting Roça Bela Vista, which still retains the elegance of the late 19th century architecture. Continue the journey to Boa Entrada, immersed in cocoa plantations and then follow the trail to three sparkling waterfalls. The route may change, subject to path closures depending on time of year/season.
We will reach Monte Café walking the ancient paths connecting different Rocas and plantations. Monte Café is the largest coffee producing centre on the island: we will explore historic areas like the old warehouse now housing the Coffee Museum. Enjoy some cool air in the climb to S. Tomé highlands where lunch will be served at Casa Museu Almada Negreiros Restaurant with panoramic views over the plains of the city of São Tomé and the stunning forest. Visit the S. Nicolau Waterfall and the Claudio Corallo coffee plantations in Nova Moca before heading back to your accommodation.
