A journey into the island along the North-West coast, through different landscapes and ecosystems such as secondary forest, plantations and savannah areas on the outskirts of Neves.

The trekking begins along the borders of the Natural Park Obô, in the crisp air of Chamiço (900 m) a small semi-abandoned Roça, former annex to the Monte Café Roça. The first part of the trail runs in a mid-altitude secondary forest, teeming with endemic plants and birds; it then proceeds through cocoa plantations and the Ribeira Palma and Rosema annexes and it brings us to a panoramic view of the West coast of the island, before descending into the city of Neves and continuing along the sea where we will meet local fishermen returning to the shore. We conclude our tour with a local tea-tasting break at the Mucumbli Ecolodge boasting fantastic views over the Ocean.
