Trekking in the high-altitude primary forest and in the mid-altitude secondary forest, this is an itinerary that allows to encounter various ecosystems with their plants and native birds. From Bom Sucesso, headquarters of the Obô S. Tomé Natural Park, we take the trail towards Lagoa Amelia. During the journey we will spot giant begonias, arborescent ferns and birds typical of high and mid-altitude forests. After reaching 1500 meters of altitude at the edge of the crater of Lagoa Amelia, we will start the steep descent towards Bombaim passing through rivers, waterfalls and abandoned roças, swallowed up by the forest. Observe first-hand the work of the "Vinhateiros"

-palm wine producers- during the extraction of the island's famous palm wine. The tour will conclude at Roça Bombaim, where the former colonial building has been restored and converted into tourist accommodation.
